Florida State University Carothers Building Room 201 Renovations
The general scope of work included renovations and improvements to approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of space in rooms 201 and 201-B located inside the Carothers Building on the campus of Florida State University. Included in the project was construction of an auditorium and lecture hall with multi-tiered seating that includes a new electronic dimming lighting system and installation of recessed electronic ceiling projectors. All controls, lighting, projectors and displays are now centrally controlled through a computer system from the instructor’s station. The renovations included demolition of existing wall and systems, installation of new flooring and walls, relocation of mechanical diffusers to create even air disbursement, painting, doors & hardware, relocation of fire alarm devices, new handrails, electrical (lighting & power) & specialty equipment.
